We are about to present our final concert before returning home tomorrow. We are at the Walden Galleria Mall in the suburbs of Buffalo. Please make plans to join us this Sunday at 9:30 am and 6 pm as we sing and share from this past week.
Both Wednesday and Thursday were full days at all the mission sites with more and more kids showing up. This is one of the harder parts for the students – making these relationships and then saying goodbye. One of the pastors told me today, “Your students have done a great job loving on these kids!” The impact – not just on the children – but on their families – will be felt for weeks and months to come as the churches follow up with these families and the ministry we began this week continues.
Our Survey Team, working in the Riverside section of Buffalo, collected over 30 prospects that will be followed up on by the missionaries working with the Frontier Baptist Association in hopes of establishing a new Baptist church in this strategic area of the city. Last night, we were all at the Buffalo Bash in this exact area. We could clearly see the many needs among this community and the families here. Please pray for the Frontier Association as they begin the process of visitation next week and seeking to find a place for a Bible Study to meet.
After the concert, we are headed out to Lockport to the home of Andy and Donnaday Chapman, who are hosting us for our final evening of fellowship, dinner, and sharing. It should be a beautiful way to end a busy but blessed week. Your students will come home tired from lots of hard work!
Our flights leave early in the morning! See you soon!
