We had an incredibly smooth trip from DFW through Charlotte into DC. We arrived in time to visit Arlington National Cemetery and witness the changing of the guard at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Every person I spoke with from our team was incredibly impressed and moved by the experience.

We then met at Wisconsin Ave Baptist Church for dinner and orientation for our mission sites. All of us were challenged to leave our comfort zones and make a difference! We were in our hotel rooms by 10:00 pm and tired from a long day! It is noticeably hot and humid, as expected. Pray that the weather won’t be too much of a factor as we go forward. Tomorrow is another long day – most of it outside. We appreciate your prayers!
