Sunday began with worship at Connection Church in Spearfish. Pastor Doug Hixson spoke from John 14 that Jesus is the Way, Truth and Life and our commitment to Him must be complete. It was a great challenge to us as we began a new week.

The afternoon was free time while the large Senior Class had lunch in Deadwood – a famous outlaw town of the Old West.

From 5-9 pm, we hosted a cookout and concert for Foothills Community Baptist Church in Piedmont. The audience was very responsive and in addition to the church members, several neighborhood people came out, including some children who really got into the music.
