Living Proof leaves in just over a month for our Philly Mission. It’s time to get focused on our purpose and goals in a more intense way. Each rehearsal session, in addition to our musical preparation, we will spend time preparing for the mission – spiritually and logistically.

WHO: JESUS and Our TEAM  – Jesus Christ is the One we worship, serve and follow. And – we must work together in unity to accomplish the mission.

WHAT: A MISSION, not a Trip! – We hope to have a BLAST serving and singing together. BUT – our goal is not our experience, but carrying out the Great Commission:

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

WHEN: July 8-15 – but, prayerfully, a LIFELONG pursuit of being on mission with Christ.

WHERE: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – specifically Olney Baptist Church neighborhood, Northwest Philly neighborhood, and various concert sites.

WHY: 1. To Share the Gospel 2. To Serve Others

HOW: Empowered by the Holy Spirit:

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
