Our students were FANTASTIC today as we finished up the VBS sites. This is a group showing great leadership skills.

Following our morning sites, we had a brief share time, allowing the students to share what they had experienced with the children at the groups, as well as what they are personally learning from each day.

We closed the night with a Block Party in a very challenging, low-income neighborhood. We fed around 300 people, and sang song as well,including some of the VBS songs we had taught the children.

As always – this has been a physically challenging week and a week requiring mental toughness and perseverance – and the students showed that. It feels great to have served and accomplished, in some way, kingdom results as we saw several children profess Christ and have encouraged these area pastors.

We are up early in the morning to head home – always an exciting day! We look forward to sharing with everyone at FBCC on Sunday at 9:15 and 5 pm.
