The final concert and block party tonight was a great success! We had around 150 people come out from the neighborhood around the church, as well as the children and parents from two of our mission sites. We had a share service after the truck was packed and on its way. The students shared how God had impressed upon them to be grateful and less self-focused after spending time with kids with so little. Again – you should be SO PROUD of how hard our students have worked this week. They are committed to the task. This was a very challenging trip physically, emotionally and spiritually – and they rose to the challenge.

Two newer members shared how God has used the ministry of FBCC to turn their lives around in significant ways. Pastor Brent felt led to share the gospel with all of our students, and we have some new believers tonight among our students! We look forward to sharing more about this with the church in the days ahead.

Pray for Mark Nevels and James Miller as they are driving the equipment truck back to Carrollton tonight, Friday and Saturday. We are looking forward to being home tomorrow AND to leading worship Sunday at the morning services and the 6 pm Home Concert!
